Russ Cohen covers a wide range of sports for the website he helped found, www.sportsology.info, and is a host on the Sportsology Radio Network. His articles about hockey have appeared on NHL.com, Slam, and FoxSports.com, as well as in Canadian Sports Collector, Goalie News, New England Hockey Journal, The Hockey News, Beckett Hockey, and Blueshirt Bulletin. He can often be heard on XM radio and other stations across North America providing commentary about the NHL. Russ is also co-author of Strike Three, a book about baseball’s labor troubles released in April 2010.

 

John Halligan (1941-2010) spent nearly a quarter of a century working for the New York Rangers in a variety of capacities including Public Relations Director, Business Manager, and Vice President of Communications. In his 53-year career as a public relations executive, author, and historian, Halligan earned numerous honors and awards. In 2007, he was honored by USA Hockey and the National Hockey League with the prestigious Lester Patrick Award for his outstanding service to hockey in the United States. 100 Ranger Greats was John’s fourth book about the team.
